Perforated

Polyx™ Perforated panels are designed with a network of high-density perforations, simulating a binary amplitude diffuser for effective sound absorption. Featuring half-perforated edges for seamless borderless joinery, these panels come in standard dimensions of 2400mm x 1200mm and thicknesses of 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm. Crafted from high-density polyester through advanced tumbling, needle punching, and baking processes, Polyx™ Perforated panels are eco-certified (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100) and fire-rated (EN 13501-1, Class B s1, d0). With an NRC of 0.75 (ASTM C423-17) using 24mm thickness, they are ideal for reducing reverberation and enhancing acoustics in any space.

Specifications

Several rectangular material samples in neutral and green tones, including PET polyester panels, are arranged on a white surface. A set of three green leaves rests near the center. Each sample is labeled Polyx.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

Polyx™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Green fabric swatches, arranged from dark to light shades, are surrounded by various green leaves and small yellow flowers on a white background, evoking a natural, botanical, and eco-friendly feel—perfect inspiration for PET polyester panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polyx™ Perforated panels are PET acoustic panels with precision perforations that allow sound waves to pass through the surface and be absorbed by the dense recycled PET core, helping to reduce reverberation while maintaining a clean, modern appearance.

The perforations increase sound entry points into the panel, enabling more sound energy to be absorbed by the fibrous PET material, which helps control echo, reduce background noise, and improve speech clarity in acoustically reflective spaces.

These panels are commonly used on walls and ceilings in offices, meeting rooms, education facilities, commercial interiors, studios, and public spaces, especially where effective acoustic treatment is needed without heavy visual impact.

Yes, Polyx™ perforated panels are manufactured from high-density recycled PET fibre, making them lightweight, durable, low-VOC, and environmentally responsible, supporting sustainable building and interior design standards.

Absolutely — Polyx™ perforated panels are available in various perforation patterns, colours, and panel sizes, allowing designers to tailor both acoustic performance and visual design to suit specific project requirements.
