Polyx Board

Acoustic polyester board in 4 different thickness

Polyx™ Board is made by a process of tumbling, needle-punching, and baking low and high melting-point polyester fibres. The high-density fibrous network absorbs sounds and reduces reverberation. Polyx™ Board comes in 4 different thickness: 3mm, 9mm and 12mm.

Polyx Baffle

Acoustic polyester baffle in 50mm thickness

Polyx™ Baffles are acoustic panels hang vertically on the ceiling to absorb echoes. Our polyester baffles come in a basic black and white polyester wool finish, or a luxurious coloured felt finish. We recommend hanging each baffle approximately 300mm away from one another for good sound absorption.

Polyx™ Perforate is created with a network of high-density perforations simulating a binary amplitude diffuser. The panel edges are half-perforated to allow a borderless joinery to the adjacent panel.

Polyx Tessellate

12mm Polyester Panels, Cable Gripper & Wire Rope

Polyx™ Tessellate consists of three pyramidal faceted geometries – Kite, Tri, and Hex. By omitting faces and blending panels of different colours, they can be modularly tiled in various ways to form aesthetically intricate designs. Procedural generation is used to tessellate these across the surface creating organic pseudo-random designs, and can also be used to produce complex fractal patterns.

Polyx Tri-Hex

12mm Polyester Panels, Hexagon Connectors

 

Polyx™ Tri-Hex is designed to be modular in nature. The panels consists of three-dimensional triangular panels held together by connectors to create hexagonal units. Each of the connectors can be installed via wire ropes to the ceiling.
