Horizon 150

Polyx™ Horizon acoustic panels feature horizontal grooves that create a sleek, continuous linear pattern, adding a sense of expansiveness to any space. Each panel is crafted with precision bevelled edges for seamless alignment. Made from 100% PET polyester, these panels are available in 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm thicknesses. Tested to meet EN 13986 and EN 13501-1 standards, they deliver excellent acoustic performance while ensuring eco-friendliness and fire safety.

Specifications

Several rectangular material samples in neutral and green tones, including PET polyester panels, are arranged on a white surface. A set of three green leaves rests near the center. Each sample is labeled Polyx.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

A graph shows absorption coefficient (α) on the y-axis (0.0 to 1.1) versus 1/3 octave center frequency (Hz) on the x-axis (315 to 5000), illustrating how polyester acoustic panels' values rise and level off as frequency increases.

Polyx™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Green fabric swatches, arranged from dark to light shades, are surrounded by various green leaves and small yellow flowers on a white background, evoking a natural, botanical, and eco-friendly feel—perfect inspiration for PET polyester panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polyx™ Horizon 150 is a PET acoustic panel system featuring 150 mm wide linear elements, designed to create a strong horizontal architectural statement while delivering effective sound absorption for large and visually expressive interior spaces.

The wide linear geometry significantly increases surface area for sound interaction, allowing the high-density recycled PET core to absorb sound energy efficiently, which helps reduce echo, manage reverberation, and enhance speech clarity in acoustically challenging environments.

Horizon 150 panels are commonly used on walls and ceilings in offices, conference rooms, education facilities, commercial interiors, and feature areas, particularly where designers want a bold linear aesthetic combined with reliable acoustic performance.

Polyx™ Horizon 150 panels are manufactured from recycled PET fibre, making them lightweight, durable, low-VOC, and environmentally friendly, supporting sustainable interior design and green building objectives.

Yes, Polyx™ Horizon 150 panels are available in a wide range of colours and flexible layout configurations, allowing designers to create continuous horizontal runs, striking feature walls, or customised acoustic compositions tailored to specific design and performance needs.
