Curve 38-2

Polyx™ Curve thermocompressed polyester board is manufactured through a meticulous process of tumbling, needle punching, and heat and pressure compression. Featuring a standard dimension of 1200mm x 2400mm, a material thickness of 3mm, and unique diameter sequences, this board is ideal for a variety of acoustic enhancement applications. Certified eco-friendly (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100) and fire-rated (EN 13501-1, Class B s1, d0), Polyx™ Curve ensures sustainability and compliance. Perfect for creating sound-optimized environments, it’s an excellent choice for modern interiors.

Specifications

Several rectangular material samples in neutral and green tones, including PET polyester panels, are arranged on a white surface. A set of three green leaves rests near the center. Each sample is labeled Polyx.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

A graph showing sound absorption coefficient (α) versus frequency for 50mm Rockwool, ideal for Polyx Curved Acoustic Panels. The curve rises steeply from 0 at low frequencies, reaching about 1.1 at higher frequencies (up to 5000 Hz).

Polyx™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Green fabric swatches, arranged from dark to light shades, are surrounded by various green leaves and small yellow flowers on a white background, evoking a natural, botanical, and eco-friendly feel—perfect inspiration for PET polyester panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polyx™ Curve 38-2 is a thermocompressed polyester acoustic board crafted with a process that includes tumbling, needle punching, and heat and pressure compression to create a high-density sound-absorbing surface. It measures 1200 mm × 2400 mm and is designed to combine aesthetic curvature with effective sound absorption and reverberation control in modern interiors.

Instead of reflecting noise like hard surfaces, the curved Curve 38-2 panel absorbs sound energy, reducing reverberation and echo across speech and ambient frequencies. Its polyester fiber structure enhances acoustic comfort in offices, meeting rooms, and public spaces by damping unwanted reflections and improving clarity.

Yes. The panel is eco-friendly and recyclable, certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, and comes with a fire safety rating of EN 13501-1 Class B s1, d0, making it a sustainable and compliant solution for high-use interior environments.

These panels are ideal for spaces that require both acoustic performance and refined design, such as offices, cinemas, schools, meeting rooms, hospitality venues, and renovation projects where controlling noise and enhancing speech clarity is essential.

The standard Curve 38-2 panel measures 1200 mm × 2400 mm with a thin, high-density polyester board suited for wall or ceiling installation. It’s engineered to meet architectural acoustic needs while maintaining a sleek curved aesthetic.
