Polyester Fiber Panels

Polyx™ Cloud 24 polyester fiber panels are designed to be suspended horizontally from ceilings, creating a ‘cloud’ effect that enhances both aesthetics and acoustics. Crafted from 100% PET polyester, these panels effectively absorb sound and reduce reverberation. They are available in various thicknesses, including 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm, and are tested to meet EN 13986 and EN 13501-1 standards, ensuring both environmental sustainability and fire safety.

Specifications

Several rectangular material samples in neutral and green tones, including PET polyester panels, are arranged on a white surface. A set of three green leaves rests near the center. Each sample is labeled Polyx.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

A graph shows absorption coefficient (α) on the y-axis (0.0 to 1.1) versus 1/3 octave center frequency (Hz) on the x-axis (315 to 5000), illustrating how polyester acoustic panels' values rise and level off as frequency increases.

Polyx™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Green fabric swatches, arranged from dark to light shades, are surrounded by various green leaves and small yellow flowers on a white background, evoking a natural, botanical, and eco-friendly feel—perfect inspiration for PET polyester panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polyx Cloud 24 panels are suspended ceiling acoustic clouds made from 100% PET polyester, designed to be installed horizontally to improve sound quality by absorbing reverberation and reducing echo in open spaces like offices, lobbies, meeting rooms, and educational environments.

By suspending horizontally and exposing more surface area to sound waves, Cloud 24 panels trap and absorb noise more effectively than flat ceiling panels, helping lower reverberation time and improving speech clarity and comfort in acoustically challenging spaces.

Cloud 24 is available in multiple thickness options — 9 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm, and 24 mm — and generally, greater thickness improves sound absorption across a broader range of frequencies, making it easier to tailor solutions to specific acoustic needs.

Yes — Cloud 24 panels are tested to meet EN 13986 structural standards and EN 13501-1 fire safety classifications, and they’re crafted from recyclable, eco-friendly materials that support sustainable building practices without compromising performance.

Absolutely — the suspended “cloud” design enhances both visual appeal and acoustic performance, allowing architects and designers to create open ceilings that look contemporary while effectively managing noise levels in busy or high-ceiling spaces.
