Contour Baffle

Polyx™ Contour Baffle features longitudinal curves that are formed by making small relief cuts on the surface of the material. These baffles are slotted into Unistrut channels with threaded rods and clips for easy installation. Made from high-density polyester using advanced tumbling, needle punching, and baking techniques, Polyx™ Contour Baffle comes in standard length of 2400mm with varying thicknesses of 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm. Certified eco-friendly (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100) and fire-rated (EN 13501-1, Class B s1, d0), it achieves an NRC of 0.90 (ASTM C423), making it an ideal acoustic solution for various interiors.

Curved, wave-like ceiling panels with integrated cylindrical white lights hang in a modern room with large windows and a pillar. Natural light filters in, highlighting the unique architectural design.

Specifications

Several rectangular material samples in neutral and green tones, including PET polyester panels, are arranged on a white surface. A set of three green leaves rests near the center. Each sample is labeled Polyx.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

Polyx™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.

Green fabric swatches, arranged from dark to light shades, are surrounded by various green leaves and small yellow flowers on a white background, evoking a natural, botanical, and eco-friendly feel—perfect inspiration for PET polyester panels.

Eco-friendly

We prioritize sustainability and eco-friendliness in our design and manufacturing processes. Made from eco-friendly recyclable materials, these products reduce environmental impact by minimizing waste and promoting long-lasting performance.

Projects

Our projects encompass a broad spectrum, spanning from new building constructions to renovations. These projects involve various spaces, such as offices, meeting rooms, cinemas, schools, and public areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Polyx™ Contour Baffle is a suspended PET acoustic ceiling system featuring longitudinal curves that are formed by making small relief cuts on the surface of the material. Designed for open environments, the system is well suited for offices, atriums, lobbies, educational spaces, and public interiors where reverberation control and architectural expression are equally important.

The longitudinal curves increases the exposed surface area of the baffle, allowing sound waves to be absorbed more effectively as they pass through and around the form. When suspended, the baffles also interact with sound from multiple directions, enhancing absorption across a broader frequency range and contributing to a more balanced and comfortable acoustic environment.

Contour Baffle systems are commonly used in offices, atriums, education facilities, auditoriums, retail spaces, hospitality interiors, and commercial environments, especially where ceiling-mounted acoustic treatment is needed alongside a strong visual statement.

Polyx™ Contour Baffles are manufactured from high-density recycled PET fibre, making them lightweight, durable, low-VOC, and environmentally responsible, supporting sustainable interior design and green building objectives.

Yes, Contour Baffle systems are available in multiple colour options and flexible installation configurations, allowing designers to customise baffle spacing, wave rhythm, and overall ceiling composition while tailoring acoustic performance to project requirements.
